Abstract

Abstract:

This study, entitled: the patterns of Shortened and Lengthened names which are rare to use in Jame’a Bayn AlSaheehain book for AlBokhari and Muslim, from morphological view. First, all the patterns of shortened and Lengthened names were collected. then, collecting the names which were rare to use. Then, colleting the rare patterns which were used once or twice only in the book. Finally, study each name individually from several aspects of lexicography, linguistic, morphological, semantic and according to the narration in the Hadeith.

However, the study based mainly on morphological and other language aspects. Also, it takes in consideration the opinion of modern scholars and its explanation, which shed the light on the pattern first and all its derivation. The methodology of the study was Inductive analytical descriptive method. The problem appears because this study shows two Shortened and Lengthened names including all the changes that occur in a specific text, which is the hadeith of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

The study was divided into two main sections:

First, Shortened patterns which were used rarely in the book .so, they were collected. Then, study its pattern, derivation, meaning, opinion of its explanator and the opinion of morphological explores.

           Second: Lengthened patterns which occur rarely in the book. Which the analysis and study is carried out as in Shortened names patterns; but with different pattern which is clear by the extrapolation.
