"The Poetics of Displacement in the Poetry of Mahmoud Darwish"

Abstract

تناولت الدراسة جانبًا فنيًا مهمًا في تجربة محمود درويش الإبداعية، يتمثل في ظاهرة الانزياح التي استثمر الشاعر تجلياتها الفنية، وفاعليتها الدلالية، وأبعادها الجمالية، لتشكيل لغته الشعرية على نحو يكسبها طاقات إيحائية، وإمكانات تعبيرية، قادرة على تجسيد رؤيته التجديدية، والإيحاء بحالاته الانفعالية، وتمثلت تلك التجليات الانزياحية في: الانزياح الدلالي، والانزياح الإسنادي، والانزياح التركيبي.

وقد اقتضت طبيعة الدراسة أن يسلك الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي.

Abstract

This study highlights an artistic part of the creative poetic experience of Mahmoud Darwish, namely, defamiliarization, which he fully invested for its powerful semantic and artistic beauty. It also forms part of his poetic language with its potential inspiring and expressive powers, and it further substantiates his innovative vision and emotions.  Defamiliarization has been manifested in Darwish’s poetry in three types: structural, grammatical, and semantic. The  study employed the descriptive analytic approach.
