Abstract
Diphthong is an acoustic and morphological phenomeno aims to avoid the slow sound effect caused by the contiguity two identical or close sound during pronunciation and to decrease the heavin in pronouncing these sounds when they are close to each other. Therefore, this research came to study diphthong in Hamza's readin phonetically and morphologically, explaining how to ease this heaviness of sound through (diphthong) in this frequent reading the researcher followed descriptive and analytical approach, as it includes diphthong in Hamza's reading, and with description and analysis made by Phonologists and Morphologists. The study concluded with the most important results : that the proximity of letters to each other is ruled by the process of effectiveness and action. This research dealt with the phonetic and morphological aspect only, and most of the scholars who are famous for studying the science of diphthong , such as Abu Amr al-Basri, followed by Hamza and his student al-Kisa'i.
There are some topics in which the science of diphthong is in line with the law of the process of effectiveness and action or according to the morphological rule we don’t find diphthong in their reading because reading is a followed mores .
Diphthong of Arabic letters (Dal) (Thal) Or something close to them from other letters . Diphthong of Arabic letters (Lam) which includes (Hal) and (Bal) It's just an acoustic diphthong which has nothing to do with handwriting or writing.
