This research addresses Al-Ghaznawi's approach to interpreting the Quran with

the Quran through his book "Tafsir al-Taqshir," an applied theoretical study

. The research is organized into an introduction, a preface, four

sections, and a conclusion.

This research aims to highlight Al-Ghaznawi's attention to interpreting the Quran

with the Quran, and to derive the aspects of interpreting the Quran with the

Quran according to Al-Ghaznawi. The inductive and

analytical methods were used to achieve the objectives, and the most important

findings were:

- It became clear that Imam Al-Ghaznawi paid attention to interpreting the Quran

with the Quran, and his methodology in this regard was clear.

-The methods that Al-Ghaznawi used in interpreting the Quran with the Quran are

numerous, and among the most prominent are:

A- Interpreting the general by the specific is a recognized method of interpreting

the Quran by the Quran.

B-Restricting the general, which is one of the aspects of interpreting the Quran

with the Quran
