In text citations

How do I cite authors in my research work?

One author in text citation requires that the last name of the author and the year of publication be inserted into the text, for example:

Huma (2016) states that ...

or

...(alzubi,2016)

 Two authors

 If there are two authors of a work, both should be cited.

 Mohammad and Barjoyai (2016) state that ...

or

...(Mohammad & Barjoyai, 2016)

 Note: Link the two authors’ names with and when cited outside parentheses. Link with an ampersand (&) inside parentheses.

 Three, four or five authors

 If there are three, four or five authors of a work all authors should be cited the first time. Subsequently use et al. after the first author.

 (Fahd, Mazen, & Majid, 2016)              first cite

(Fahd et al., 2016)                             subsequent cites

Note: There is a comma after the second to last author.

 There is no preset number of papers that will be accepted for publication in the IJSM Journal.  All research work that meet our standard of excellence will be published. The medium of language is English and Arabic. If no submitted work is judged to be worthy of publication, the Journal will not be published.
