This research aims to clarify the authenticity of the hadith and address the issues it has caused. The structure of the research includes an introduction, three main chapters, a conclusion, and indexes. The introduction outlines the significance of the research, strategies for preventing the associated problems, the methodology employed, the research title, and the overall plan. The first chapter focuses on assessing the grading of the hadith of Abdullāh ibn Abbās. The second objective aims to identify and prevent the reasons behind the issues associated with this hadith. The third objective addresses methods for correcting hadith. The conclusion summarizes the findings of the research, while the indexes include a compilation of sources and references. The importance of this research lies in the fact that the hadith addresses the matter of judgment based on a witness and an oath, and it is included in Saḥīḥ Muslim. The researcher concludes that the hadith is authentic, and the interpretations provided do not compromise its authenticity. Recommendations include prioritizing the study of authentic hadiths that have been explained and taking measures to prevent the issues linked to them.
