Abstract
he study aimed to assess the extent to which the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) methodology is implemented to enhance learning outcomes in public education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from the perspective of school principals. The researcher adopted the descriptive-analytical approach and developed a questionnaire as the main tool for data collection, in addition to conducting interviews. The findings revealed that the overall level of applying the Balanced Scorecard methodology in improving learning outcomes was high, with an average mean score of 3.58 and a standard deviation of 0.68. Among the BSC dimensions, the internal processes dimension ranked highest (mean = 3.98, SD = 0.69), followed by the customer perspective (mean = 3.97, SD = 0.67), the learning and growth dimension (mean = 3.78, SD = 0.84), and finally the financial dimension (mean = 3.62, SD = 0.81). The study concluded with a proposed framework for the application of performance measurement methodologies aimed at enhancing learning outcomes in public education schools in Saudi Arabia, in alignment with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
