Abstract
Abstract of the study in Arabic:
The study aimed to reveal the impact of distance education on academic achievement in early childhood schools in Jeddah Governorate from the point of view of teachers.
The study followed the comparative descriptive approach, and the study sample was randomly selected from students in the first grades, and their number reached (182) students distributed among schools in the city of Jeddah.
A specially prepared tool was applied to evaluate academic achievement in distance education, and the results revealed that there were statistically significant differences in the academic achievement of primary grade students due to the type of school at a 5% significance level.
In favor of early childhood schools with female teachers, the arithmetic mean values for social skills were highest at (85%), while it was in primary schools with male teachers at (76.6%). Based on the results, the researchers recommended the necessity of conducting more scientific experiments. In the primary grades to clarify the effectiveness of the impact of distance education in the early childhood stage and to conduct similar studies in other regions so that the results of the studies conducted are combined according to a unified database to help decision makers judge the effectiveness of the early childhood program and its development.
