The degree of availability of technological innovations for teaching physical education in schools in Al-Khobar Governorate

Abstract
This study aimed to reveal the degree of availability of technological innovations for teaching physical education in schools in Al-Khobar Governorate. To achieve the goal of the study, the descriptive survey method was used, and the research tool, represented by a questionnaire, was prepared to determine the degree of availability of technological innovations in teaching physical education. The questionnaire included (20) Items, and the study sample consisted of (60) physical education teachers in Al-Khobar Governorate during the third semester of the academic year 1444/1445 AH, which included all physical education teachers in Al-Khobar Governorate. The results of the study showed that the degree of availability of technological innovations for teaching physical education in Al-Khobar Governorate schools from the teachers’ point of view, it came in a average degree, with an statistical mean of (2.10), and a standard deviation of (0.68) with a percentage of (69.93%). The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between the average responses of the study sample attributed to the variable (school levels). The results recommended the need to provide the necessary financial allocations to provide technological innovations in general education schools that allow for the effective employment and use of technological innovations, and to hold training courses for physical education teachers in educational design with the aim of developing their role in building and designing digital programs and activities to improve learning outcomes.
