Fields of developing social intelligence among university students: a field study on students participating in clubs at Taibah University

Abstract

The study aimed to recognize the role of the fields of social intelligence development among university students participating in student clubs, through three areas: The field of group organization, bargaining solutions and personal relationships, using the survey descriptive curriculum, and applied the study to a community of students participating in student clubs at the University of Taiba. (616) students during the academic year 2021-2022, and the study sample consisted of (344) students, selected in the random class manner by 56%, The identification was applied as a data-gathering tool, and the result of the study showed an agreement of opinions that I appointed from students about the high areas of social intelligence development, The overall average of the fields is 4.38 to a very large degree, which confirms that the areas of social intelligence practiced by students in clubs have a very significant importance and role to them, as they hone their skills and develop their social relationships. The study recommends that attention be paid to the development of student clubs at Taiba University and that it be strengthened by more areas that develop their social intelligence, reflecting their abilities and skills in dealing with others.
