Abstract
This study aimed to reveal the level of beliefs of eleventh grade students in the Sultanate of Oman towards environmental sustainability in light of future vision 2040. The research used the descriptive analytical method. The data were collected by means of a questionnaire consisting of (53) distributed in three main areas: population growth, scarcity and depletion of natural resources, and environmental sustainability of natural resources. Its validity was verified, and its stability was calculated, which amounted to (0.822). It was applied to a sample of (105) students enrolled in the eleventh grade for the academic year 2019/2020 in the Sultanate of Oman. The results showed a decrease in the level of students' beliefs towards environmental sustainability, as it came at the average level for all fields, and the results also showed that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance between both males and females in the level of their beliefs towards environmental sustainability, and the study recommended the need to pay attention to the inclusion of geography curriculum vocabulary for the environmental input And current events, and the intensification of environmental programs and activities in the school environment.
