ABSTRACT

The Study Title: The role of school head teachers in the activation of school health education for elementary students in Tabuk, from the viewpoint of health care teachers. Objectives of the study: The study aimed to identify the role of the school head teachers in the activation of health education for elementary school students in Tabuk. To achieve this, the researcher built and the application of a questionnaire entitled: the roles of school head teachers in the activation of health education at the elementary level in Tabuk, from the viewpoint of health care teachers through four areas, namely, the role of the school head teacher in the activation, achievement of the overall cleanliness of the school,and activating means of health safety, and providing an appropriate environment for health nutrition and school health education. The study population:The study population consisted of all health workers and the (75) health ounselor in primary schools. in Tabuk city. The study Approach: The researcher used descriptive approach to determine the role of the school head teacher in the activation of health education. The most important findings of the study:from the standpoint of the study sample was generally moderately reached a mean (3.66). The role of the school principal in achieving health education was moderately reaching the arithmetic average (2.69) , and that the role of the school principal to the overall cleanliness was a high degree reached a mean (4.00). There is also the role of the director of the school in the activation of the means of health and safety was a high degree arithmetic average (4.11) , while the study showed the role of the school principal in an appropriate environment healthy nutrition to provide a high degree arithmetic average (3.85). , While the results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the respondents estimate attributed to the variables of academic qualification experience.
