Abstract

Hugging Stopping in the Holy Quran

Summary

This research discussed the places of hugging or attraction stopping in the Holy Qur'an. It is also dealt with talking about the Qur'anic word or sentence of attraction in terms of stopping on it without linking it to what precede it or after it, and can it give a full meaning if it is read separately, or if is it linked to the previous or subsequent context to provide full meaning.

In other words, can we read the Qur'anic word or sentence of hugging stopping without linking it to what precede it or followed it?

The research problem is that some individuals do not know the science of stopping and initiation, which causes errors in reading the Holly Quran without careful consideration of the places of stopping and initiation, which may lead to ugly or forbidden stopping.

Therefore, it was important to research and question the reason for the prohibition of some stopping in the Holy Qur'an. This research showed the effect of stopping and initiation, and clarified the importance of learning stopping and initiation in Holly Quran, and that the violation of this science (i.e., stopping and initiation) may lead to a violation of the Qur'anic meanings, which affects the understanding of the Book of God Almighty

In this research the inductive approach was employed.  The results of this research showed that in some of the embrace stopping, if the reader stopped on the two positions together, this led to misleading meaning by giving incomplete or short of meaning (not full meaning), or giving different meaning. May Allah bless our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
