Abstract

 

The scholastic roots on the issue of the existence of metaphors in the Noble Qur’an was a source of intensity and tension. Especially in the relationship of metaphor with the position of the attributes of God Almighty, and his actions, This is the case with most of the issues related to scholastic science, Therefore, the study aims to highlight the impact of the controversy that took place in the science of Usul al-Fiqh as an extension of the The scholastic opinion raised by the trends of schoistic schools. Mu'tazila and Ash'ari. The metaphor in the Qur’an begins with the Mu'tazila. Where the Mu'tazila believes that metaphor is the way to protect and defend their scholastic essentials, then the rest of the Doctrines and sects of thought and others took it from them, and each has chosen a statement for him that agrees with his belief, and made for him controls and precautions so as not to dispute with other scholastic choices. Among the best in presenting this issue, editing it, and removing suspicion about it is Al-Samaani, for although he favors the good entry of the metaphor in the Noble Qur’an, he has moved away from the points for which many scholars have denied the existence of metaphors in the Qur’an. He did not use the evidence of the attributes of God in which the Mu'tazila metaphor for denying them or deviating them from their apparent meaning emerging to the minds and closer to the language to an interpreted meaning, Al-Samaani denied the denial of the metaphor in the beginning, and denied the established ones who had placed him in authority on evidence, describing God and the actions of God. He criticizes its contrary use and provides evidence for its apparent facts.
