Different models of Orientalism thought toward Islamic Studies


(1311-2006)


This study analyzed the motives that led to the creation of Orientalism thought in Europe, among the Christian clergy in the beginning, then among some scientists from various disciplines, whether theological, historical, or literary. Etc. In addition, clarify the mechanism of the balance of these orientalists harsh Islam and Islamic Studies, as well as, state the reason of the West European and Russian interest in Arabic and Semitic languages. Finally, give examples for the most integrity orientalists who took Islam, and its Studies fairly, and examples for the most non-objectivity orientalists who took a negative attitude of Islam, Muslims and their Studies.


One of the main results of the study that the Orientalism as science, was not one since the inception of this science; As encompassed hatred of Islam as a religion spread throughout the Earth, and drew arrows to infect each belongs to the religion of the Arabs and Muslims; Other orientalists were Honest and neutral in addressing Islamic Studies with its various nomenclatures.
