Abstract
In this study, the researcher examined the effectiveness of teaching with Active Learning methods on the level of academic achievement .
The subjects were ( 48 ) male high school students in Jeddah and randomly divided into two groups an experiment group and control group (19 each ) .
Both groups were pre and post tested on academic achievement in Physics for the 10th grade students . After the application of Active Learning methods the experimental group was post tested on academic achievement , and scored higher than the control group, which proved that Active Learning methods were effective and had an impact on academic achievement .
Some recommendations were offered in this study .
