Conclusion:


This research aims to elucidate the status of the Maldives islands and its people, and how Islam spread to these scattered islands. For this purpose, the researcher divided the study into two chapters and a conclusion, employing both inductive and analytical methodologies to achieve research objectives. The findings highlight that the Maldives is an Islamic country with a 100% Muslim population. The constitution stipulates that Islam is the official religion, requiring all citizens to be Muslim, and barring non-Muslims from obtaining citizenship. The republic is founded on Islamic principles, as affirmed in Article 10 of the constitution, which prohibits any law contradicting Islamic principles. Citizens are free to engage in activities not prohibited by Sharia or the law. The majority of Maldivians adhere to the tenets of their faith, as evident in their official religious celebrations
