Manifestations of Intellectual Deviations from the Point of View of Scholar Ibn Uthaymeen and the Features of his Approach in Dealing with them through his Interpretation

Abstract

           This research aims to illustrate the concept of intellectual deviation and its manifestations according to Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, and his attitude about it, all through the sheikh’s interpretation of the Holy Quran. The researcher used the descriptive, inductive, and analytical approach. The research reached a number of findings. Scholar Ibn Uthaymeen was aware of the condition of his era, and completely knew the contrasting trends and ideas surrounding it. Ibn Uthaymeen’s approach is comprehensive in diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of these deviant ideas. The research recommendations : To study Ibn Uthaymeen’s attitude about the deviant trends individually, and to compare Ibn Uthaymeen’s approach to the approach of other scholars of the era.
