Abstract

Islamic culture places significant emphasis on enhancing individual skills and contributing positively to societal development, Among these skills: the skill of delegation. This research aims to elucidate the concept of delegation, tracing its origins in the Holy Qur’an and the purified Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. The study identifies the event of migration as a pivotal starting point, exploring the social, educational, and psychological dimensions of delegation.


A deductive analytical approach was employed in this research. The study concludes that the Prophet Muhammad’s use of delegation encompassed profound psychological aspects, such as fostering self-confidence, loyalty, and dedication. The research also highlights the significant social dimensions of delegation, particularly in cultivating individuals' sense of responsibility and enhancing social and effective communication skills. Consequently, delegation is recognized as an educational skill of great importance, warranting its application not only in work and management but also in educational settings.


The research offers several recommendations: It is advised that future research efforts focus on integrating educational, psychological, social, and administrative concepts to strengthen the connection between life and Islamic teachings for future generations. Additionally, educators are encouraged to utilize the skill of delegation both at home and in schools to nurture various competencies in children from an early age.
