Abstract

The research problem is about explaining what Imam Siddiq added to his interpretation, by revealing his way of presenting and explaining the recitation modes in these two surahs, and explaining what grammarians added to these recitation modes in terms of grammatical aspects. The research aims to collect and study the recitation modes of the names mentioned by Imam Siddiq in his interpretation of the two surahs; by clarifying the type of these recitation modes, revealing their grammatical directions, and showing their effect on the general meaning of the verses. The study followed the statistical methodology; as I collected the recitation modes of the names and their directions from their positions in the interpretation of the two surahs (Yunus, Hud), and the descriptive methodology, in which I extrapolated these recitation modes and clarified their types through the words of scholars, and analyzed the grammatical explanations, clarified each one of them, and extracted their benefits and effects on the general meaning of the verses. The researcher reached several results. The first, Imam Siddiq mentioned many recitation modes, both mutawatir and anomalous, and he sometimes clarifies the type of reading, and most of the time he is satisfied with directing it without clarifying its type and source. The study also showed the emergence of the great effect of the difference in recitation modes in enriching the meanings; as we saw the multiplicity and diversity of meanings in many places, and each meaning had its importance and significance; so that the meanings cover the details of the event that the verses talk about.
