Abstract
This research aims to deduce and analyse the ethical da'wah methods employed by the prophets with their families as presented in the Holy Quran, and to explain how preachers can benefit from these deduced ethical methods. The study consists of an introduction, two main sections, and a conclusion that includes the findings. The introduction addresses the research problem, its objectives, significance, methodology, and previous studies. The First Section deals with the emotional ethical methods. It defines the term "method" linguistically and technically, then discusses the method of compassion towards family members and patience with them, the method of expressing concern for them, and the sorrow over their loss. The Second Section addresses practical ethical methods, examining the methods of advice, firmness, and selecting a righteous spouse for one's children. The research found many findings. First, ethical da'wah methods are those based on Islamic morals and are divided into emotional methods and practical methods, second, compassion and firmness with family members who are being called to faith depend on the condition of the invitee. Compassion towards children and invitees does not mean disobeying God's commands for their sake. Second, the research highlighted the importance of advising the invitee, including the prophets' and preachers' advice to their family members concerning worship, faith, ethics, and worldly matters. Third, the prophets also emphasized building the families of their children and helping them choose righteous spouses.
