The idea of the research revolves around mentioning the powers of the president in the Somali Constitution on the one hand, and the powers mentioned in Islamic jurisprudence on the other hand, while presenting analyzes of the agreed and different frameworks separately, as the researcher seeks to answer a major question, which is: What are the powers of the head of state in the Somali Constitution? What is the difference between it and the authorities mentioned in Islamic jurisprudence? The research aims to collect the authorities contained in both the Constitution and Islamic jurisprudence, and to compare them. The researcher proceeded to explain this by following the inductive approach to the authorities, analyzing them, and commenting on them. The researcher also concluded that the authorities contained in Islamic jurisprudence are more comprehensive and broader in scope than those mentioned in the Somali Constitution, while both the Constitution and jurisprudence grant The president has the highest powers and highest ranks in the state at all, and he is the final arbiter in determining the fate of the nation, and no one among the subjects can surpass him.
