The research aims to study the Dawah methods of one of the leaders of reform among Muslims, Abu Al-Ala Maududi, through the heritage and important works he left behind. In an effort to highlight his ability and Dawah skills so that he can be adopted as a bright role model for preachers, reformers, and educators. Talking about his authentic and contemporary preaching methods of preaching. The researcher relied on the historical methodology in monitoring his works, the analytical methodology in analyzing his preaching message, and the descriptive methodology in describing his works. The research reached results that highlighted an aspect of his dawah methods. Imam and scholar Abu al-Ala Maududi inherited from the prophets the mission of conveying the message to the people. The Imam took the means of preaching that were mentioned by Sharia law, and stayed away from those that it prohibited. The imam used original means of preaching learned from Allah’s Book, and the Sunnah of His Noble Prophet, may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, and the righteous predecessors of this nation such as mosques and public speaking. The Imam used contemporary methods derived from the data of the era, adhering to the pricipless of the Holy Sharia such as participating in conferences and seminars. This study is only one of the building blocks of that blessed missionary building, as aspects of his methods have not yet been studied, and others need more detail and depth.
