الملخص
This study focuses on describing the religious activities in the city of Jerusalem and the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the period from 1994 to 2023. The study aims to shed light on the reality of Al-Aqsa Mosque under occupation and to outline the nature of the religious activities and efforts within the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city of Jerusalem. The research is divided into an introduction, a preliminary chapter, two main chapters, and a conclusion that highlights the most significant findings. The study employs an inductive and descriptive-analytical approach. One of the key findings is that the Department of Preaching and Guidance within the Jordanian Ministry of Awqaf oversees the religious activities in the city of Jerusalem and the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. These efforts involve the service of maintaining and appointing imams and preachers, providing regular lessons, caring for Quran memorization centers, and the organization of qualification courses for preachers and imams. The study also reveals that there is an emphasis on religious education through schools, the College of Da'wah and Fundamentals of Religion for higher education. Religious activities within Al-Aqsa Mosque include Friday sermons, daily religious lessons held before Dhuhr, after Asr, and after Maghrib prayers for men in the Qibli Mosque, and for women through female preachers in the Dome of the Rock Mosque.
