Abstract
This is research entitled "The Interesting in the Explanation of Al-Muqni for Scholar Zain al-Din Abi al-Barakat al-Manji bin Othman bin Asaad al-Tanukhi al-Hanbali who died in 695 AH (from the explanation of the chapter: suspension of divorce with conditions to the explanation of the last chapter: the tools of the condition). It is widely acknowledged that the book 'Al-Muqni' by Muwaffaq al-Din Ibn Qudamah (d. 620) holds a great and significant status in the Hanbali doctrine. Scholars have diligently explored it through explanation, abbreviation, tashiya, and correction. This explanation by Ibn Al-Manji, famously known as "The Interesting in the Explanation of the Al-Muqni Scholar," is characterized by its author's scholarly authority. He provides insights for each novel or saying mentioned by the owner of Al-Muqni, turning the explanation into a repository of evidentiary material and more. The main problem addressed in this research is that this explanation was published incompletely, and the section concerning divorce from it has been cataloged as missing from the nation's heritage. It is with great pleasure that we dedicate this effort to His Majesty the King: Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, may God protect him. The goal of this research is to present the text in the form closest to the author's intentions, may God have mercy on him. This research also aims to contribute to the preservation of a valuable part of the nation's heritage and make it available to scholars and students of knowledge, especially the Hanbalies. The research was conducted according to the scientific method to achieve this heritage, emphasizing the faithful reproduction of the author's intent, linking the texts to their original sources, attributing verses, and classifying hadiths. Among the most significant results of the research is the clarity of Ibn al-Manji's methodology and its consistency in this explanation. One of the key recommendations is to complete the investigation of the remaining missing parts of the explanation, direct them, and publish them. We pray that God may allow this research to be of benefit, purity, and receptiveness.
