ABSTRACT


This research studies the issues of Al-Waqf (Pause while reciting the Qur’an) and Alibtidaa (Resume reciting of the Qur’an) through the interpretation of the Book Zad Al-Masir of Imam Ibn Al-Jawzi, its collection and study. The research dealt with the problem of the pause and the beginning by Imam Ibn Al-Jawzi through his interpretation (Zad Al-Masir), shed light on his approach in these issues, and aims to highlight the interest of Imam Ibn Al-Jawzi in the issues of Al-Waqf, Alibtidaa and how he employed these issues in his interpretation, then the researcher concluded his research with results and recommendations. The main results were: the difference in the syntactic face changes the rule of Alwaqf, and it results in a change in the meaning, and all of this is from the miracles of the Noble Qur’an, as one verse carries many and multiple meanings.
