Ibn Yunus al-Saqilli (d. 451 AH) and his approach in mentioning the jurisprudential differences in his comprehensive book on Mudawwana and Mixed Issues

This research aims to study the author's approach with the jurisprudential differences between issues that appear at first to be similar. Despite the strength of this approach, there is a need to study the jurisprudential differences in similar issues in all sections of jurisprudence in this book. The study aimed to address the issues in which Ibn Yunus mentioned the jurisprudential difference in the chapter on Al-salam, and its impacts. The study has used the Inductive methodology to trace the issues which the author stated that there are differences, and the analytical methodology to explain the significant difference between them. The study concluded that it is Forbidden for those who are not familiar with the knowledge of jurisprudential differences to give a fatwa. The differences in the issues mentioned by Ibn Yunus are significant and he has a strong influence that makes each issue have its own ruling.
