The effect of ICT Policy implementation and Usage on employees' Job Satisfaction: A case study of Staff at International Islamic University Malaysia Library

الملخص

The main purpose of study is to examine the effect of ICT implementation on International Islamic University Malaysia library staffs’ job satisfaction. The total male and female staffs who are working in the library of IIUM were sampled. A 55 survey questionnaires were distributed to the respondents while, only 48 questionnaires were returned and therefore analyzed.  A regression analysis test was performed to investigate the effects of implementation of ICT policy and staff use of ICT on library staff job satisfaction. The findings show that independent variables, ICT use and implementation of ICT policy were found to have positive significant effects on their job satisfaction. Library staff were satisfied with the ICT they used to carry out their daily responsibilities and effectively serve their customers.
