Abstract

ABSTRACT

This research deals with some of the signs of the end of the world related to the lands of Al-Sham, which have not yet occurred, and the main of the research objectives are to clarify the doctrinal aspect of it, clarify the hadiths that indicate it, and the doctrine of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah on it, inductive, analytical, and deductive methods were used. One of its most important results is that the one of the minor signs and portents of the doomsday, which has not appeared yet, is the occurrence of a great battle between Muslims and Romans before the appearance of Al-Mahdi -peace be upon him- and this will take place in Al-Sham, particularly in the province of Ghouta near Al-Sham countries. The most popular and right of the scholars’ sayings is that Muslims will open Iraq and Sham then the two countries will not send their dinar and Mudd because the Romans and non-Arabs will prevent them from sending these items. The Antichrist (Adajjal) will appear between Al-Sham and Iraq, then he will roam and navigate the whole earth with his evil trial, but he will not be able to enter Makkah and Madinah, so he will be expelled outside to Al-sham where his end and also the end of his followers (the Jews) will be at the hand of Isa son of Mary (Jesus Christ) and his followers of Muslims, this will happen at the eastern entrance of Lud. The descent of Jesus Christ is a fact due to Quran, Sunnah and consensus, and that he will descend at the white minaret in the eastern side of Damascus. All this will occur while Muslims at a state of war that they prepare themselves to fight Antichrist (Adajjal) and his followers. The occurrence of Caliphate at Jerusalem is an evidence of the time of Caliphate that will happen at the end of this life with all what will accompany it of great events and great dangers, which will be signs of the doomsday. It is a Caliphate before short time of the doomsday. The great danger of Gog and Magog, there great numbers and that they will roam and navigate the whole earth and the first of them will drink from the lake of Tiberias. Allah our creator, after those great signs and portents which are; the descent of Jesus Christ and his killing to the Antichrist, the coming out of the beast and the rising of the sun from the west, he will send a pleasant wind which will be very delicate like silk and has good scent from Al-Sham to take the live of every Muslim. The land of assembly will be the countries of Al-Sham as mentioned in the authenticated Hadiths, and this will happen after vanishing of religion and the victory and proliferation of corruption on earth.
