Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reality of the supervisory practices of mathematics supervisors in Jeddah in critical thinking and the necessary requirements from the point of view of mathematics supervisors. A personality applied to (10) male and female mathematics supervisors. The results of the study showed that the reality of the supervisory practices of mathematics supervisors in the city of Jeddah in critical thinking in the light of the skills of the twenty-first century was very high, and the requirements for activating mathematics supervisors for the skills of the twenty-first century in their supervision came to a high degree. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average responses of the study sample towards the reality of supervisory mathematics supervisors' practice of critical thinking due to the gender variable in favor of female supervisors, while the study did not reveal statistically significant differences between the averages of their responses due to the variable of years of experience and practical qualification.
