Abstract

The research reviews the impact of artificial intelligence and its role in the acquisition of the Arabic language for non-native speakers, using some applications that simulate theories of language acquisition and the second language, and the research required that it consist of two chapters theoretical extension in the first chapter, and an analytical and descriptive application in the second chapter, the first chapter came in two sections, the first topic is the impact of artificial intelligence or what we call technical intelligence, and its effective role in learning languages, explaining the history of artificial intelligence, its importance and characteristics, In the second section, it deals with the theories of second language acquisition and the psychological foundations of language learners for non-native speakers, and the second applied chapter dealt with two sections, the first section is to consider the use of artificial intelligence applications in learning Arabic for non-native speakers. We chose the application of the Duolingo platform as a model to demonstrate the role of artificial intelligence elements in enriching the acquisition of the Arabic language for non-native speakers, and how it can be managed and exploited, and the second section dealt with the projection of some theories of second language acquisition on the study, And the psychological foundations of learners of Arabic for non-native speakers on the Duolingo platform for learning Arabic as a model of artificial intelligence, that program whose results showed its effectiveness, although it needs some modifications that we will explain in this study based on theories of second language acquisition, in order to develop some smart interactive systems in the program to serve the process of second language acquisition.
