Abstract

Summary :
This research deals with Surat Al-Buruj with the study under the title "Surat Al-Buruj, the purposes and gifts.. an applied study." It is one of the great surahs of al-Mufassal that was revealed in the Meccan era. And the oppressed at that time will be subjected to various kinds of torment from the infidels of Quraysh. So this surah was revealed telling the story of the people of the zodiac without detail or length. The story was told to show an exemplary model for a group of believers who were steadfast on the truth; Although they were subjected to brutality and genocide without any mercy or mercy by the lying tyrants who set fires and burned them on the scene of them, and the surah began with the oath of God  with the sky and the enormous towers in it to indicate the great power of God; From which emerges an aspect of intimidation and a threat to the oppressive tyrants, and an aspect of amusement and consolidation for the believers.
