دراسة عقدية لحديث: (إنَّ الْإِيمَانَ لَيَخْلَقُ فِي جَوْفِ أَحَدِكُمْ كَمَا يَخْلَقُ الثَّوْبُ الْخَلَقُ، فَاسْأَلُوا اللَّهَ أَنْ يُجَدِّدَ الْإِيمَانَ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ)

Abstract

Doctrinal study of hadith: (The faith of one of you will diminish just as a garment becomes worn out., so, ask Allah to renew faith in your hearts).

- Objective: highlighting the importance of renewal of faith, and its relationship to its increase, decrease and differentiation in it, indicating the rightful inclusion for the renewal of faith, and indicating the most significant rightful methods for causing it.

- Scientific Approach: Inductive, Analytical, and Deductive

- Most significant results: renewing faith in Allah is a revival and restoration of the status that the believer was at, the importance of the renewal of faith is that it is something that the texts of the Shariah have brought, and the faithful servant is still striving in his life to achieve two great things, first: strengthening faith and its branches, and verifying them in knowledge and action, second: seeking to repel what contradicts them and invalidates them from apparent and hidden temptations, healing the defaults at the first and the dares at the second, following the example of the goodness of the predecessors of this nation, and there is no one that don’t have lovers and haters, then, it is necessary, so let the example be the people who are obedient to Allah.

The research proved that the purpose of knowledge of the hadith of the renewal of faith is that faith wears out; hence, it is necessary to always have faith and know what acts of obedience have occurred under this faith, so that the servant shall be steadfast in faith and increase acts of obedience, and to also know sins the servant committed, so he can hasten to struggle with himself from going too far or falling into them, and then he must know how to increase and decrease faith and differentiate in it.

From the most significant methods of renewal of faith: recalling what is in the heart, mentioning with the tongue the details of the meanings of the rightful faith, fearing Allah, performing the five daily prayers, seeking beneficial knowledge, reflecting on the Noble Quran, taking care of hadiths, the morals of the Prophet, peace be upon him, the morals of the Companions and the good ones, holding the believer himself accountable, making friends with the good, attending knowledge circles, and a lot of remembrance of Allah.
