Abstract

This research aims to reveal the signs of the emergence of the Basra School in the Qur’anic readings, its most famous people, its most prominent literature, and its characteristics. In this research, I have adopted the inductive and analytical approach of the books of biographies and classes, and books that talked about the emergence of readings, briefly describing and succinctly what suits the situation. The results of this research include: 1. Diversity of ways of endurance and performance among the sheikhs of Basra, such as listening, reading to the sheikh, or narrating differences in words. 2. The predominance of the realization of thought, reasoning and guidance in the linguistic and reading direction among the sheikhs of Basra without relying on abstract transmission and narration.
