Abstract

This study briefly deals with two important aspects of Ibn Juzi al-Kalbi’s scientific life: the first is his creed, and the second is his jurisprudential school of thought. There is no doubt that the scientific life aspects of such a scholar as Ibn Juzi al-Kalbi deserve to be devoted to discussing and investigating. Therefore, this study comes to explain and clarify his belief and jurisprudential school of thought. It consists of an introduction, six objectives, and a conclusion. The introduction deals with the importance of the topic and the motivation for writing it. The first objective centers on introducing his name and lineage; the second is about his birth, upbringing, and death; the third is about his scientific life; the fourth presents about his works and scientific impacts; the fifth is about his creed, and the sixth is about his jurisprudential school of thought. Finally, the conclusion states the most important findings and recommendations.
