This research is concerned with one of the books of the Sunnah of the Prophet, which is "Sahih Ibn Hibban", which contained many sciences, including issues and jurisprudence; Which is the focus of this research, and many studies have highlighted Ibn Habban's jurisprudential choices through his authenticity, but - as far as I know - there were no researchers who dealt with his choices from the book Al-Lukta, which represents the problem of this research, so this study came to contribute to completing the work With those studies, by collecting his jurisprudential choices in the different issues in it from the book of the locuta, and clarifying the evidence on which he based his choices, knowing the most correct ones, and knowing what his views agreed with the Shafi’i school of thought and what disagreed with it, which is the goal of this research, and the importance of the research lies in The status of Ibn Hibban and his Sahih among the people of knowledgeAnd the necessity of identifying his jurisprudential choices, and due to the lack of research dealing with his choices from the book Al-Lukta, and my methodology in it was inductive, descriptive, analytical and comparative, based on the order of “Al-Ihsan fi approximating Sahih Ibn Hibban” by Ibn Balban Al-Farsi; Who arranged it on the doors of jurisprudence. It became clear to me through a valid study that Ibn Hibban’s choices and jurisprudential opinions appear in his translations of the hadiths he cited in the chapters and jurisprudential issues. Where he violated the Shafi'i school of thought on many issues.
