Dyslexia between learning difficulties - the problem of research and treatment


This research aims to identify some phenomena associated with dyslexia. And reveal the relationship of "dyslexia" with learning difficulties. In addition to providing focused knowledge content for the Arabic teacher, it may help him to gain a deeper understanding of the subject of reading hardship in all its aspects. The study aims to arouse the interest of researchers in linguistics towards the necessity of adopting research in this problem and its treatment, in which the research disputes medical, psychologists, and pedagogical scientists for diagnosis and treatment. The importance of this study appears to be that it deals with this problem that did not receive the attention it deserves from the attention of Arab researchers, despite the danger it poses, as the infection rate in some Arab countries exceeded 15%, and most of the research presented in it does not exceed the theoretical side. It is noticeable that there is a lack of research in the Arab environment - as far as the researcher knows - in relation to the research that is the subject of the study, or perhaps even scarcely specifically in the research community. In treating the problem. The study provided through the descriptive and "case study" curricula on a sample of middle school students (in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) the specific tools for the teacher to diagnose cases with great accuracy through diagnostic card and codified tests also provided the Arab treatment program exchange and unprecedented origin, as it is computer. The results of the study: The incidence of dyslexia is increasing in the Arab countries and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in particular, and that dyslexia clearly affects the academic achievement levels of students in all subjects, and the results indicated the effectiveness of the role of the Arabic language teacher in diagnosis and treatment if knowledge is granted And the necessary tools for that, and the treatment program presented achieved tangible results in the survey study.


The study made a number of proposals to contribute to providing practical solutions to this problem. The study also proposes adopting its method of diagnosis and treatment to confirm its effectiveness.
