Abstract
The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of an educational program on developing academic achievement in mathematics for students of the eleventh grade students in Amman. The researcher studied the effect of one or more experimental factors (variables) on one or more dependent variables. Therefore, in this study, one of the designs of the semi-experimental approach was used, more specifically the design known as the design of pre and post measurement for one group. The sample of the study consisted of (70) students from the eleventh grade scientific students in Amman in the second semester of the academic year 2018/2019. The results of the study indicated the positive effect of teaching mathematics using an educational program on the development of achievement in mathematics. The results indicated that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) between pre and post performance in the study variable. The study recommended that the instructional program manual and the educational activities it includes should be included in the course of teaching methods for preparing mathematics teachers in colleges of education. The importance of educating female teachers about the importance of educational strategies based on the program and their benefits for the educational process. Reconsidering the school curricula and the school environment and rebuilding and shaping them in a way that suits the needs of students, because of their effectiveness in improving the educational process in all its dimensions.
