Abstract
This study aimed at monitoring the reality of specialized training programs for secondary Arabic teachers in Dammam in the light of their training needs .The researcher used the descriptive method to observe the training programs presented to such teachers under the service and investigating study literature and previous related studies which enable him to prepare the questionnaire .This sample was selected in an intentional way after the exploratory sample putting aside .
Several standards were taken into consideration in preparing the questionnaire (questionnaire aim , building sources , its description ). The truth of implement was achieved with displaying the questionnaire on arbitrators from some professors and some specialists in education to know its truth.
The researcher ascertained its constancy steps followed in scientific research. The study reached a group of results .
The most important is that training needs on which the questionnaire built were greatly important . The arithmetic mean ranges) for training needs in the fields of academic specialism . Moreover , the study recommended the necessity of doing practical studies handling secondary teachers in Dammam for upgrading their academic efficiency .
