Diplomacy for nations is the driving force of international political life and the source of its activity, which is for each country the tool that enables them, if used well, to take the appropriate place in the international arena, and in light of the rapid and progressive development of the world of communications, the importance of temporary diplomatic practice has grown to an era of permanent diplomacy, and since the emergence of the latter to this day, the permanent diplomat representation has become an advocate of stability, development and protection of these relations. Officially diplomatic missions are exchanged between States on the basis of understanding of the role and the tasks that are exercised, and based on what has been mentioned earlier, the problem of research focus on the next question: Do the duties of the Diplomatic Envoy and his diplomatic immunities have a legal basis or not? The importance of the study highlights the most important concepts, tasks, basis and immunities that States grant to the diplomatic envoy and their compatibility from the perspective of political legitimacy. Objectives of the research are to identify the concepts, functions of diplomatic Envoy, his immunities and protocols, and to identify the basis of immunity for the Diplomatic Envoy, the study uses an analytical descriptive approach to study concepts, tasks, basis and the immunities granted to the diplomatic envoy from the perspective of political legitimacy, and reaching to the most important conclusion which is that Diplomatic Immunity is one of the most important pillars of international relations that ensure the effective functioning of diplomatic missions which represent the principles advocated by Islam in respect of human dignity and fulfillment of the covenant and the human brotherhood since the mission of the Prophet Muhammad - peace be upon him
