Main Article Content
Abstract
The study aimed to investigate the impact of training on the dimensions of job performance among employees. The research problem was
centered around the prevalent lack of training opportunities for employees in the sector, with training often being limited to specific
programs. The study sought to determine whether such training influences the improvement of job performance in the education sector in
the Aden Governorate, Republic of Yemen.
A descriptive, analytical, and descriptive statistical methodology was employed to analyze the sample data. Structural equation modeling
was utilized to test six hypotheses and achieve the study objectives. The study included a field study design, with a questionnaire designed
based on relevant previous studies to collect data from a sample of 237 teachers from primary and secondary education schools in the Aden
Governorate.
Data analysis, conducted using regression analysis, revealed a statistically significant positive relationship between training and job
performance for employees in the education sector in the Republic of Yemen. This suggests that as training programs increase, the job
performance of employees in the education sector improves. Regarding the dimensions of job performance, training had a positive impact
on productivity, leading to increased efficiency and accomplishment. Additionally, training demonstrated a positive effect on the quality
of service provided, improving employee interactions with students and the community.
The study concludes with several recommendations, emphasizing the continuous development of training programs tailored to the needs
and challenges of employees in the sector. The study also underscores the importance of management's role in supporting employees
through training and encouraging their participation in training programs.
