THE NECESSITIES OF FIVE PURPOSES OF SHARIAH IN ANTI-DRUGS

Abstract

The study aimed to statement on the legalization of drugs and the legality of their prohibition in Islam. As well as a statement of negative impact on the necessities of the five purposes of the shariah. The study concluded that there is a destructive effect of the spread of the drug phenomenon, which exceeds the individual to the family and the society from legally, healthily, socially and economically aspects. The majority of scholars agreed on the prohibition of all types of drugs except what is used for the medical and therapeutic necessity. This prohibition is agreed upon it, because of the effects of drugs that threaten the loss of the individual's eligibility and neglect in many pillars of his religion because of his mind' absent, as well as it paid to the death and loss of soul and life. The study also revealed the prevalence of adultery, the violation of symptoms and the intermingling of genealogies due to drugs, and the fact that drug abuse and trafficking is a waste of money and spending in other than the aspects that Islam has permitted. The study recommended the need to spread religious and cultural awareness towards the Shariah provisions of drugs and to show their harm to the overall purposes of Shariah. The study also recommended to educate parents about proper Islamic education as a first line of defense, as well as the control bodies to raise the level of control over drugs in hospitals, clinics and pharmacies.
