Abstract
Perhaps the Islamic civilization is the merely civilization attributed to religion; hence it is civilization of faith. Meanwhile, it is global, universal, comprehensive and international civilization. Both Muslims and non-Muslims have contributed to it. This is true about Arabs and non-Arabs achievements on it. This extraordinary phenomenon it is not to be matter of fact without great religious tolerance and multi-racial peaceful coexistence that Islamic civilization was ascribed with. This paper aims at figuring out Muslim intellectuals’ contributions of including non-Muslims in their studies in Islamic heritage, as well as pointing out achievements of non-Muslims in Islamic heritage and Islamic civilization. Not only that, but also the research has mentioned attainments of non-Arab Muslims scholars in Islamic civilization and its intellectual heritage. The researcher has adopted an inductive and analytical approach in their study, which concludes that scientific research and intellectual achievements of Islamic heritage in Islamic civilization were ascribed with multiplicity, diversity and tolerance. Moreover, strong presence of multi-religious and multi-racial coexistence in Islamic heritage is a direct result of Islamic teachings and principles.
