ABSTRACT


The study aims to study the effectiveness of active learning strategies to teach Islamic education in achievement and self-confidence among middle school students in Saudi Arabia. The study aimed at finding out the effectiveness of using active learning strategies in achievement and self-confidence among middle school students in teaching Islamic education in Saudi Arabia. Experimental Method The research sample was 60 students of the third grade of the intermediate stage divided into two classes, the number of one grade was 30 students. The researcher used to collect the data of this study several tools (the measurement of self-confidence and content analysis). The researcher confirmed the validity and consistency of the study tools in different statistical methods. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average score of the students of the control group and the experimental group in the post-test for the experimental group. (0.98). The results also showed the effectiveness of the use of active learning strategies in teaching Islamic education on the achievement of Balik's average gain equation, since the effect of the construct model was acceptable for the experimental group compared to The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences in the average self confidence levels in the different dimensions between the students of the control group and the experimental group in the post-test in favor of the experimental group. (0.944), which is a large value, indicates that a large percentage of the differences are attributable to active learning. The study also found the effectiveness of using active learning strategies in self-confidence among middle school students. The mean and remote mean of the female students on the self-confidence scale of the experimental group. It was found that the effect of the constructor model was acceptable for the experimental group. The average gain rate for Blake is 1.14 and it is in the range determined by Blake for efficiency (1 - 2) The effectiveness of using active learning strategies emphasizes the development of self-confidence among middle school students.


The researcher recommended building programs based on active learning strategies as an input to teaching. And attention to the decisions of Islamic education colleges of education and schools and provide the potential that helps students to acquire practical skills and self-confidence and outstanding achievement
