The central bank has the responsibility to regulate the banking system in order to secure the value of money and realize the other objectives of monetary policy. as a primary agency for monetary policy.

In order to reach the desired results, the research started by defining the central banking role of in banking sector by clarifying the concept of Central Bank independence, and central bank objectives. In addition, how the central bank's supervision mechanisms affecting the Islamic bank working.
The results of this study showed that Islamic banks need specific supervision mechanisms for Islamic banking and should be different from the mechanisms used for the conventional banking system, moreover, there are some points where different controls need to be done between Islamic and conventional banks.
